The Chorus at CA is incredible. Somehow, Mrs. Payne pulls beautiful sounds out of even the most quiet and reluctant singer. For my son, who isn't interested in team sports, Chorus has been a fun outlet that allowed him to also be part of a different kind of team. The Chorus meets daily to hone their skills and there are several opportunities throughout the year for them to showcase their talents to family and friends. They also bless our local nursing homes during the holiday season with their cheerful songs. Another fun thing they get to do is go on an annual Chorus Trip. In a lot of schools, the only kids with the opportunity to travel are athletes, but the CA Chorus also gives their students the opportunity to get away for a few days to sing and travel. All three of my kids have been involved and have grown as people and singers!

My husband & I are grandparents to a student. We love the concerts so much we attend even if it is not her class participating. The CA choir, under the direction of Mrs Payne, perform beautifully.

The Purpose of the Arts in a Student’s Life
Through music, visual arts, and theater, students can communicate their spiritual journey and connect with God on a deeper level.
They help students discover, develop, and celebrate these God-given gifts, fostering a sense of purpose and fulfillment in using their talents to honor and serve God.
The arts nurture students’ ability to solve problems, innovate, and approach challenges with a creative and thoughtful mindset.
Whether through a chorus, drama production, or art project, students learn the importance of teamwork, respect, and supporting one another, reflecting our Christian values of love and fellowship.
