DO I QUALIFY TO BE A HOST?
In order to host an international student, you must be able to:
be a willing volunteer in the program
pass a criminal background check
provide character references
participate in an in-person interview with a program staff
treat the student as part of your family
transport the student to/from school and extracurricular activities
provide a bed (can be in a shared room with someone of the same gender within 2 years of age)
provide breakfast and dinner (if a family dinner takes place, meals outside the home are the responsibility of the student.)
